When facilitated within a safe, intentional, experienced, and well-guided container, these experiences can offer profound shifts in perception, emotional healing, and spiritual growth. They can provide an opportunity for self-discovery, trauma resolution, and insight into one’s life and relationships, while fostering a deeper connection to the self and to the world around us. These medicines have been used by indigenous cultures for thousands of years, often in ceremonial contexts, to heal individuals and communities, offering wisdom and insight that is not always accessible through ordinary means. It's essential to recognise that these experiences require a thoughtful approach guided by skilled expertise, proven proficiency, appropriate safety, and diligent care. They are also most effective when offered with proper preparation and integration. Preparation ensures that the individual is grounded, centered, and aligned with the intention of their journey, while integration allows for the full embodiment and understanding of the insights gained, ensuring they can be incorporated into daily life in a meaningful way. Lina has vast experience in the realm of plant medicines and non ordinary states, combined with a keen understanding of Shamanism and the Western psyche. From nineteen ninety-five to nineteen ninety-eight, she spent three and a half years traveling through South America, immersing herself in the rich traditions and teachings of indigenous cultures. It was during this period that Lina first began her deep connection with plant medicines, gaining transformative insights that shaped both her personal journey and her approach to healing. Following this formative experience, Lina continued her exploration of plant medicine and healing traditions, studying Western and Chinese herbalism, clinical aromatherapy, the meridian system, and deepening her understanding of the therapeutic potency of plants. Since two thousand five, she has focused on working with plant medicines in a therapeutic context, helping individuals navigate their own healing processes through preparation, integration, and somatic practices. This journey has fostered a profound understanding of how these medicines can facilitate healing and self-discovery when used in a safe, intentional, and well-guided way. When considering a journey with plant medicines or psychedelics, it is vital to approach these potent tools with respect, preparation, and an understanding of our own history—especially our family dynamics, past experiences, and the imbalances or patterns that may be carried from them. Through my preparation sessions, we will work together to gather information about your present state— mind, body, psyche, emotions —so that we can ground and stabilize your journey. I will also guide you through an exploration of your family blueprint and relational history, helping to uncover any underlying imbalances that could affect your experience. In my work, I have witnessed how unresolved trauma can influence the way we move through life, often without our awareness, hence the importance of this exploration in preparation for any non-ordinary states work. Drawing from somatic therapy, shamanic practices, and psychotherapy, we will create a personalized intention that is connected to your deep inner landscape and aligns with your healing goals, laying the groundwork for a transformative and safe journey. The work that unfolds during these non-ordinary journeys may take time to integrate, as it often reveals parts of ourselves that need ongoing attention and healing. During the integration sessions, we will work together to help you process and make sense of your experience. Often, these journeys (plant medicine, psychedelics, non-ordinary states) bring up deep emotional shifts, profound insights, and new perspectives that can feel overwhelming or difficult to fully grasp right away. My role in this process is to help you decode these experiences, making them practical and useful for your ongoing healing journey. We will explore how the insights and shifts from your plant medicine, psychedelic, or non-ordinary experience can be applied in your life, supporting you in making grounded, sustainable changes, and helping you to heal any residual processes that were unearthed during your non-ordinary journey / experience. So keep in mind that it is not uncommon for individuals to need multiple integration sessions to fully unpack and process the insights, emotions, and shifts that occurred during and after their non-ordinary state experience.
